BELLBROOK — Attention Division II girls basketball teams: Carroll is healthy and beginning to look like the squad that was ranked first in the state.
With Kelly Austria and Ciara Triplett back at full strength, the Patriots snapped a four-game losing streak with a dominating 64-37 win over previously unbeaten Bellbrook on Monday night in front of a near-capacity crowd.
“It felt like how we were playing at the beginning of the season,” Austria said after scoring a game-high 20 for the 14-4 Patriots. “We played well today. Our chemistry is back to where it was — we are bouncing back from the slump.”
