Listen up, people!…This week’s MVP Podcast focuses on Boys Basketball, State Football and paying respects to a track coaching legend.
The boys basketball season is still in its early stages, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing going on. There’s plenty happening and Ohio High School boys basketball expert Kurt Stubbs is here to fill us in on what we need to know. Stubbs, who runs ohioHShoops.com, will take a look at boys basketball action from across the state and let us know who the top players, teams and newsmakers are less than a month into the season…
Also on board is Southwest and West Central Ohio Correspondent Tim Langevin who spent state football finals weekend with yours truly in Stark County. We’ll discuss what we say…
And finally, we pay homage to longtime Miami Valley track coach Randy Waggoner who lpassed away this week at age 66 due to heart failure complications. Waggoner was the former head coach at Dayton Roth and Dunbar high schools and was most recently the head coach at Trotwood-Madison, which he led to a second place finish at last year’s D-I state meet. Waggoner was a regular on the MVP Podcast and we’ll miss him.
