Picking the Playoff Winners in Week 13
Who saw Minster beating Marion Local? How about Big Walnut over Marion-Franklin? Trotwood-Madison over Winton Woods? Not me…but that being said, I still did pretty good with my Week 12 picks.
After getting 75% of the games right in the regional semifinals, I got 73% right in the regional semifinals. By comparison Drew Pasteur and his formula got 80% and 77% right the last two weeks, respectively. I’ll take it.
Unlike the regional semifinals when I shined on Friday, Saturday was my best night last week. I got 19-of-24 games right (79%) on Saturday, including 7-of-8 right in both D-III and D-V. In D-VI I got 6-of-8 and in D-I, II and IV I got 5-of-8 correct.
On a side note, I also predicted region winners when the playoffs began. 10 of those I tabbed to play in Week 14 are out (and italicized).
