This week we continue to pick against and with the Dayton Daily News in its annual Pickers Contest. And we continue to lead.
I do have to say though that in Week 6 my string of three straight weeks as the top picker came to an end. Greg Billing, who is second right now in the overall standings, came through with a 16-4 week. I was 15-5. Those five losses almost equaled my wrong picks for Weeks 3-5 combined (when I went 53-7). Still, despite the loss in last week’s picks, I continue to lead the overall standings by six games.
Here’s how the standings sit after six weeks:
1. Eric Frantz 98-22 (15-5 last week)
2. Greg Billing 92-28 (16-4)
3. Mike Hartsock 85-35 (14-6)
4. Kyle Nagel 83-37 (15-5)
5. Brian Kollars 79-41 (13-7)
6. Marc Pendleton 75-45 (14-6)
