Gunner Calhoun, Clinton-Massie, Sr., LB
Four-year starter and two-time All-Ohioan has been first team all-league and made over 100 tackles in each of his first three seasons.
Jordan Scanlon, Clinton-Massie, Sr., RB
With over 4,000 career yards, he should become school’s all-time leading rusher. Last year he ran for 2,020 yards and 30 TDs.
Cody Latimer, Dayton Jefferson, Sr., WR/LB
Standout two-way player scored 16 TDs three different ways last year (rushing, receiving, returning) and had 94 tackles. Has offers from Indiana, Ball State, Bowling Green, Akron and Buffalo.
Kaleb Goins, Lehman Catholic, Sr., RB
Two-time All-Ohioan has rushed for over 3,500 career yards, including 2,784 the last two years. He also has 48 career TDs and over 300 tackles, including a team-high 78 last season.
Jordan Leininger, Delphos St. John’s, Sr., RB
Followed 1,222 rushing yard and 15 TD performance as a sophomore with 1,596 yards ad 31 TDs last year. Potential D-I recruit projected as a linebacker in college. Versatile? He ran, caught and threw TDs last year.
Chris Pohlman, Delphos St. John’s, Sr., LB
Reigning D-VI Ohio Defensive Player of the Year has 299 tackles the last two seasons. He’s also the reigning MVP Defensive Player of the Year.
Kyle Pohl, Valley View, Sr., QB
Senior threw for over 1,749 yards and 18 TDs in nine games last season. He has committed to Akron.
Zane Pitzer, Alter, Sr., QB
Alter’s rugged ground game will again be led by Pitzer who rushed for 934 yards and 21 TDs last year.
Teddy Link, Alter, Sr., LB
Latest standout in long line of successful Alter defenders. He had 61 tackles and two interceptions last year. Was first team GCL.
Ty O’Conner, Lima Central Catholic, Jr., QB
Earned second team All-Ohio honors as a sophomore. Already owns scholarship offer from Bowling Green.
Quincy Surles, Thurgood Marshall, Sr., RB
One of four RBs last year to go over 1,000 yards for Cougars. Only one returning though.
