It’s Week 10, boys. That means a few things. One, we have some teams that can make November plans, because they aren’t playing in the postseason. Brookville, Oakwood, Bellbrook, Dixie, and a few others fit that bill.
But, Lemon-Monroe, Carlisle, Valley View, Milton-Union, Waynesville, Franklin and Eaton are all very much in the hunt. Monroe, Carlisle and the View are all near locks, and as of right now, MU and Waynesville are both in, too.
Amazingly, Eaton and Franklin are not in if the playoffs start today.
And, neither can expect help from their near-guaranteed Week 10 victories. Franklin plays Oakwood and Eaton plays Preble Shawnee. There’s just not many Harbin points in that.
Because the general slate of games is in that manner—shall we say, not exciting?—I’m going to give you the winners in beautiful bullet-point form:
• Eaton over Preble Shawnee
• Franklin over Oakwood
• Valley View over Brookville
• Milton-Union over Bellbrook
• Lemon-Monroe over Northridge
• Carlisle over Dixie
• Waynesville over Madison
It’s just not an exciting week. But, that’s okay, because next week it’s playoff time.
And if you’re a fan of the teams mentioned to win, chances are you might get to see a playoff game.
