Fort Loramie senior Mark Frilling a 6-6 wing forward currently holds two offers.
Findlay and West Liberty University are Frilling’s offers.
The senior, who played his AAU ball with the Ohio Gators, told us that he was also drawing interest from Walsh and Cedarville along with Division I Northern Arizona (will be at open gym next week).
The last time Frilling stepped on a high school court he was dominating in a 64-58 regional semi-final loss to Lockland, 64-58. Frilling, who averaged 15.6 points per game as a junior, scored 27 points and blocked nine shots in the losing effort.
Frilling commented on his strengths and weaknesses.
“I think my versatility is a big strength of mine,” Frilling noted. “I can play the three, four, or five. On the other side of things, I have been working on my shooting and ball handling quite a bit.”
The 205-pounder, who plays a lot bigger than his size, extended that Fort Loramie has a chance to be pretty good this season.
“We lost one senior role player, but we have our first eight back,” Frilling said. “We are real deep, and if we stay focused and keep our eye on the prize the sky is the limit for this team.”
