WHO WE ARE

The Miami Valley Sports Magazine (MVP) is an award-winning media outlet that is respected statewide as one of Ohio’s top high school, college and regional sports mediums. MVP was started in 2001 and has continued to grow over the years to encompass a coverage area of over 115 school districts and 20 Ohio counties.


Eric Frantz
Publisher/Co-Founder
Frantz is the current Publisher of MVP and also the Managing Editor of JJHuddle.com and Ohio High Magazine. He is also the Director of Publications for the Bucknuts Media Network. He has over 15 years of experience covering high school and collegiate sports and has won numerous writing awards from the Ohio Prep Sports Writer’s Association and the Society of Professional Journalists. Frantz also appears weekly on WHIO TV Channel 7 and writes a regular recruiting column for the Ohio State Alumni Magazine. Previous stints include stays with the Dayton Daily News, Lancaster Eagle-Gazette and Centerville-Bellbrook Times.

Nick Falzerano

Falzerano is an award-winning phtographer who owns and operates Nicholas Studios in Bellbrook, Ohio. Falzerano is a Bellbrook High School and University of Dayton graduate who has had his work published in Sports Illustrated, Time, Newsweek, People, Rolling Stone, the National Enquirer and several other publications.
